We’re looking for an early-career researcher representative to join the Network Steering Group.
The position is open to PhD students (2nd year or later) and postdocs in non-permanents posts at any of the following Glasgow institutions: University of Glasgow (including Crichton Campus), Strathclyde University, Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow School of Art, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
You should be an active researcher in any area of the medical humanities, including creative practice, and have an openness to collaboration and interdisciplinarity. The duties of the position are by negotiation with the Director. They include feeding into Network activities through participation in the Steering Group, as well as (for instance) designing and organising events aimed at ECRs, blogging and social media activities, consulting and communicating with stakeholders, and promoting the network. The rep will work alongside Dr Helen Charman, the Network’s other ECR rep, and will be paid an hourly rate appropriate to their career level.
