Job Description
The Assistant Professor of Religion and Medical Humanities will teach and conduct research at the intersections of religion/culture and medicine/healthcare, such as contemporary health-care practices in global medical systems; religion/culture and conceptions of care; religion/belief and healthcare ethics; beliefs/culture and genetic medical practice; human subjects protection; racial and ethnic health disparities; or religious/cultural literacy for healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will maintain a scholarly research agenda, teach both introductory and advanced courses, advise students, and welcome opportunities to work collaboratively on campus and/or community events and programs.
