I have received a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature from The American College of Greece (Deree) in 2015, and a MLitt in English Studies from the University of Aberdeen in 2016. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in English Literature at the University of Glasgow.
Research and Teaching Interests
Masochism, Sadism, and Literature Necrophilia in Literature. The effect of Eros and Thanatos on the readers of Contemporary literature A psychoanalytic, philosophical, sexological, religious and feminist approach to the erotic novel. The impacts of erotic fiction in the Modern and Contemporary literature and society. The position of women in the fairy-tale tradition; A psychoanalytical and philosophical approach to the dying female figures in fairy-tale tradition and the erotic connotations of the dead body.
