Research and Teaching Interests
Focused on issues relating to the representation of mental illness; how dominant narratives about illness experiences shape literary expectations, how women writers challenge such narratives through the use of experimental form. I am doing archival research into zines about mental health at the Wellcome Trust collection and at Glasgow Women’s Library.
