Dr Simon Harold Walker (Early Career Researcher Adviser) is a Research Associate within the Occupational Health Specialist Research Group – Healthy Working Lives Group within the University of Glasgow as well as part of the Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare (CSHHH).   He is a specialist in Suicidology with expertise in Military Medical History and the History of Suicide and is currently researching British Military Suicide in the twentieth century for his upcoming book Silent Voices forthcoming from Palgrave McMillian in 2023.  He teaches at the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University and his first monograph War Bodies with Bloomsbury Academic was released in paperback in 2022 focused upon the British soldier’s physical experiences of indoctrination and trauma during the First World War.  www.simonhwalker.com, https://www.strath.ac.uk/humanities/schoolofhumanities/history/centreforthesocialhistoryofhealthhealthcare/meetourexperts/
